Liberating Histories
I developed and produced this 6-part mini series that explores the last 50 years of feminism through the lens of feminist magazines. Remembering the Women’s Liberation Movement with candour and humour, and reflecting on the challenges of feminist activism in the age of the algorithm, the exchanges we recorde between feminists across the generational and digital divide spark exciting new insights into debates about reproductive justice, racism, class, sexuality, fashion, queer politics and popular culture, while also evaluating what has changed for women in the last 50 years and what has stayed the same.

Gardening with the RHS
As Lead Producer for Gardening with the RHS, an award-winning podcast with more than two million yearly downloads, I not only had to become an overnight gardening expert but also manage all aspects of the podcast, as a one-woman production team, to deliver a 30-minute multi-feature show every week. Since joining, I’ve introduced new segments about rethinking gardening in the era of climate change, historically sexist and racist gardening practices, and the colonial legacy of invasive plant exploration. In the past year, listenership has grown over 30%.

The Gauntlet
For over a year, I worked on this long-form article about the the first female fighter pilots in the U.S. Navy. The article was co-written by Katie Hafner and published by Vox.
In the early 1990s, few corners of the military were as misogynistic as the world of fighter pilots. This is the story of the women Navy officers who overcame that culture to fly the formidable F-14.

The Original Anni Clark
Anni Clark, a Maine-based musician, has been writing and performing music since the late 1970’s. Somewhere along the way, though, Anni stopped putting out songs—her last studio album was released over 18 years ago. But that all changed in May of 2020.
I produced this feature during my time at the Salt Institute. It aired on WMPG and WERU in Maine.
